CleanConnect.ai journey
Innovation born from the field
The story begins
CleanConnect.ai was founded in February 2020 by Luke Coats, David Conley, and Mark Smith.
The energy industry was reeling from a collapse triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, compounded by a global price war. While many saw chaos, we saw opportunity: a critical need to bring advanced AI to oil and natural gas producers, helping them operate cleaner, safer, and more efficiently than ever before.
First producer landed
We successfully landed our first producer, PDC Energy, in Colorado.
Our market presence began to grow among major energy companies, giving us the impetus to develop the next innovations.
Autonomous365 launch
Our advanced visual automation product suite was successfully launched for our clients.
Autonomous365 is fueled by Adaptive Operational Intelligence and visual automation tech.
CDPHE approval
Our products were deemed compliant with Colorado state environmental and public health regulations.
From then on, CleanConnect.ai began collecting recognitions for meeting the highest standards of environmental responsibility and operational integrity.
First Minerva in the field
After getting SOC 2 (type 2) Compliance &
ISO 270012022 certification, we successfully deployed our first Minerva unit.
Minerva holds the status of a one-of-its-kind visual automation system that sees the invisible in the field.
EPA approval & Empirical Energy
We introduced Empirical Energy — a data-driven model that brings transparency to energy markets. We’re turning precise emissions data into verified market value and setting a new standard for the energy industry.
Right after, CleanConnect.ai received the first of its kind EPA approval as an Alternative Test Method (ATM) for periodic screening under Subpart OOOOb and OOOOc.
